I have been in sleep research for over twenty years. I have spent the vast majority of my time working with physicians, hospitals and medical technology manufacturers in an effort to help patients who suffer from sleep disorders including insomnia. It has been a fascinating journey and certainly rewarding given that I have led literally thousands of people to a cure for their problem with sleep. Whether it be snoring treatments, obstructive sleep apnea treatments or an insomnia treatment, I have been involved at the ground level.
Here's a quick video about Dr. Sparks
Intuitively, we all know that sleep is not only vitally important to our health, but it is almost a sacred rite…it is a time to withdraw from the world, get cozy in your own little sanctuary, be safe and rejuvenate. Did you know, however, that if you do not sleep well or if you don’t sleep enough, you literally change your body’s chemistry and physiology as well as initiate an alarming deterioration in your mental health.
Here’s why. While you sleep, important work is in progress. The vast majority of the hormones that make your glands and organs function properly are produced while you are sleeping. Poor sleep means poor hormone production which can lead to diabetes, cardiovascular problems including heart attack and high blood pressure, problems controlling your weight, mood disorders including depression, anxiety and stress, lowered libido and an array of other maladies.
Over the years, as I have met and talked with thousands of patients suffering from sleep disorders, I have seen and heard hard evidence of the health problems associated with sleeplessness. These observations have led me to the conclusion that sleep forms a foundation for good health meaning that if you are not sleeping well, it is impossible to be in good health.
So this is not just a web site…The Insomnia Cure is a safe haven of wellness. We are going to give you information and solutions concerning all areas of your health including what I refer to as the pillars of wellness. These pillars are diet, exercise, sleep and mental tranquility. I urge you to become engaged with our community as a student and beneficiary of good health. I urge you to let me help you find an insomnia cure.
Welcome to all of you, my mission is to serve.
